Sales Consultant

The position of Sales Consultant is responsible for developing new business relationships and servicing of support to any existing clients.  We look for competitive, self- motivated individuals who have the drive to be successful and contribute to our growth as a company.  This is a great entry/mid-level/experienced position for an individual eager to develop a long-term career in sales with a competitive salary.

Senior Sales Consultant

We are expanding our Business Development Group by adding Sales Executives in the DC/Maryland/ Virginia region.  The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for increasing revenue by developing new relationships within target organizations. As Barrister Digital’s initial point of contact with customers, the Senior Sales Executive will provide strategic guidance and knowledge to clients during the sales process while building market awareness and contributing to the team as a thought leader.


The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for sales of a full range of Litigation Support services that include eDiscovery, Digital Forensics, Mobile Forensics and Consulting. This position will develop new business and service existing client relationships with respect to electronically stored information (ESI). Primary target will be accounts of Fortune 1000 Corporate Legal Departments.  Specific duties include:

  • Generate sales by meeting with prospective and existing clients
  • Cold calling and lead generation
  • Sales calls, customer meetings, presentations and demonstrations conducted in pursuit of new and repeat business from prospective and existing clients
  • Meet/exceed assigned revenue goals
  • Sell Litigation Support services from inception to delivery
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

The Senior Sales Executive reports directly to Managing Partners and is responsible for the development of and maintenance of excellent client relationships with high levels of customer satisfaction, provide strategic management direction to grow revenues, and generate new business.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline
  • Five years’ experience in selling highly-technical systems or services
  • Proven success in sales to Fortune 1000 Corporate Legal Departments
  • Proven and demonstrable knowledge of the Litigation Support Market, including key decision makers, litigation support processes, litigation support solutions and systems, and industry trends.


  • The ability to sell services independently, without the day-to-day support of management or other technical resources.
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills
  • Be detail oriented and exceptionally attentive to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
